Morata 2 Goals 2 Assist made English Premier League History with his header vs Everton

The blues cruised to a 2-0 victory against Everton and according to history, Morata’s goal against the Everton meant he became the first player ever to record a goal and assist in his first two home games in the Premier League.
The Spaniard has been an instant hit at Stamford Bridge since completing a £58 million move from Real Madrid, scoring two goals and providing two assists in three Premier League games.

Antonio Conte has been full of praise for the 24-year-old in recent days and believes he’s only going to get better as he continues to adapt.

“Morata is improving a lot,” said the Italian. “Also [Tiemoue] Bakayoko is working with us for only 10 days. To go into a different style of football is not simple.

“You have to understand the movement, when you attack the space, whether you stay to receive the ball, there are many situations to understand.

“Morata is improving a lot in physical condition and is also adapting to the football.”
